I was stunned upon entering the cave! It's like a "natural air-conditioned room," 10 degrees cooler than the city!
🚌 Easy Route
1️⃣ Shuttle bus to Jiulong Cave (ticket NT$5/person)
- The temperature inside the cave is 18 degrees Celsius year-round, and the stalactites are magical under the lights.
- Remember to bring a light jacket; it's really chilly inside! ❄️
2️⃣ Scenic Walk Downhill (approximately 40 minutes)
- Walk slowly along the tree-lined trail, stopping frequently to take photos of the mountain scenery.
- You'll pass by a series of mini waterfalls along the way; the water is incredibly refreshing.
3️⃣ The grand finale: Xiang Bridge.
🌉 Standing on the bridge overlooking the canyon is so spectacular that even a wide-angle lens on your phone can't capture it!
📸 Best photo spot: The platform to the left of the bridge head offers stunning views of the entire arch and emerald waters.
🕷️ Nearby is the filming location for the Spider Cave in "Journey to the West," a must-see for fans.
💡 Friendly reminder:
✔️ It's recommended to visit the cave in the morning; afternoon light is optimal for photographing Xiang Bridge.
✔️ Wear non-slip shoes, as the cave floor can be slippery.
✔️ Weather permitting, combine this with a visit to the nearby Zhongdu Ancient Town.
