The cityscape is simply beautiful,

especially the view of Lyon from Notre Dame Cathedral on Fourvière Hill is amazing.

The markets and restaurants are also wonderful.

Lyon's traditional restaurants are called bouchons, and there are many of them in the old town.

Quenelle is a traditional dish that Lyon is famous for.

You should definitely try it.

You can go there from Paris as a day trip, so if you have time, be sure to go.
