European-style charm of Jardim de Vasco da Gama

Jardim de Vasco da Gama, also known as Nam Van Garden, is Macau's first park.

After searching online, I found out that this garden was built in the 1860s and is located at the intersection of Avenida da Praia Grande and Rua Nova à Guia. It was formerly the site of the St. Francis Monastery.

The garden is divided into two levels, designed in a European style, and features various ancient trees such as starfruit, mango, and podocarpus. It is one of Macau's concentrated areas for old trees. Inside the garden, there are stone benches, fountains, and pink cylindrical buildings, making it a popular spot for photography and a great place for citizens to relax and take photos.
