W Macau
🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness:
Overall, the room's soundproofing and cleanliness are acceptable, with no obvious issues affecting the stay.
🏘️Room Type/Layout:
The lobby is quite small, more like an entrance hall. The room we stayed in seemed rather ordinary—perhaps because we'd previously stayed at The Lisboa Palace, and by comparison, W Macau didn't stand out in terms of room type or layout.
🛌Amenities/Facilities:
The in-room amenities and facilities are standard, meeting basic accommodation needs but without any particularly outstanding features.
💗Other Tips:
- When we arrived in the morning, there weren't many people checking in, but it still took over ten minutes. In the afternoon, the lobby was crowded, and the check-in line was long. Once, we just came to pick up our key card and were next in line, but because of noise from another queue, the manager let them check in first—the process felt a bit chaotic.
- When asking the doorman for directions to The Venetian, the guidance wasn't precise, making us walk extra under the scorching 30+°C sun. It would have been easier to go straight through the mall on the right to the exit and cross the street.
- The hotel is relatively close to Galaxy Arena, which is convenient for those attending concerts.
Summary:
Macau has many hotel options. While W Macau is close to Galaxy Arena, there's room for improvement in lobby space, check-in efficiency, and service details—it's not a must-choose hotel.
