#chinatravel Walking around Senado Square in Macau is like stepping into a lively postcard. The area bursts with energy, from the colorful pastel buildings to the beautiful wave-patterned mosaic tiles under your feet. The mix of Portuguese and Chinese influences is everywhere, creating a unique charm you don’t see every day.
Street performers, small snack stalls, and local shops line the streets, making it perfect for both sightseeing and tasting local treats. I loved wandering into the side alleys where you find quieter spots with hidden cafés and little boutiques. The square is also a gateway to famous landmarks like the Ruins of St. Paul’s, so it’s easy to combine sightseeing in one trip. Even though it can get crowded, the atmosphere feels festive and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy people-watching, and snap plenty of photos. A city walk here is a must do for anyone visiting Macau.
