A day in Madrid that ends with a sunset

In the afternoon, I filled my senses with the Crystal Palace and Boat Lake at Retiro Park. At sunset, I headed to the Temple of Debod to capture the sunset over the Almudena Cathedral and Royal Palace. Sitting on the grass and listening to buskers, the 30 minutes of watching the sky transform from purple to orange to indigo were a highlight. Afterwards, I headed down to Gran Via to capture the Metropolis and Cibeles at night, completing the city's golden hour.
Mini Route: Retiro (Boat/Crystal Palace) → Debod Sunset → Gran Via/Metropolis → Cibeles/Bellas Artes Rooftop
Tip: Arrive at Debod 45 minutes before sunset. Be mindful of the small entrance fee and waiting lines at the rooftop (Círculo de Bellas Artes).
