Enjoy nature: Hiking in Doi Inthanon National Park

Natural Journey: Of course you have to visit the highest peak in Thailand.
❤️Doi Inthanon National Park
Doi Inthanon National Park is a true treasure of natural beauty, covering rugged mountain terrain covered by dense and lush tropical forests, magnificent waterfalls, and is also the best place to watch the sunrise in Chiang Mai.
1. The first stop is Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail, the mountain entrance of Doi Inthanon National Park, where we will start a two-hour hike! There will be a mountain guide at the ticket office, which makes people feel at ease. I felt quite safe throughout the whole journey. We went back and forth along the original route, the path was very clear, and we saw tour guides and guides along the way. The climbing height of the path was not too high, so friends who have the habit of exercising generally won’t find it too hard, right? ! The scenery on the mountain is very similar to Taiwan's Alishan!
2. King and Queen Twin Towers:
After going down the mountain, take a shuttle bus similar to a double-decker bus directly at the trailhead and get off at the entrance of the King and Queen Twin Towers. Whether you drive yourself or join a tour group, you must take the shuttle bus at the square at the entrance of the mountain.
The two pagodas, Phra Mahathat Naphamethanidon and Nophamethanidon, located 3 kilometers from the top of the mountain, were built by the Royal Thai Air Force in 1989 and 1992 to commemorate the 60th birthdays of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit respectively.
The dark brown one is the "King's Tower" and the purple-blue one is the "Queen's Tower". Both pagodas have exquisite Buddha carvings and delicate murals, creating a solemn and dignified atmosphere. There is also a garden under the pagodas that is full of flowers and green trees all year round. It is worth taking some time to take photos. On a clear day, if you are lucky, you can also enjoy the vast and magnificent mountain scenery.
The Mae Rim Botanical Garden that I visited last year is Queen Sirikit’s Botanical Garden. I feel like this queen must love plants and flowers.
3. Wachirathan Waterfall
The last stop is to see the waterfall. The car drives directly to the entrance. It is very easy and convenient to enjoy the magnificent Wachirathan Waterfall~
The water is quite powerful. When you get close to the fence, you can feel the small water drops of the waterfall flying around. The sun was shining that day and I saw a rainbow.
4. If there is still time on the way back, ask the driver to take us to Big C for shopping and then go to Nimman District to find a massage to continue relaxing!
Chiang Mai is really chill!
