🐑Shiga Prefecture | A Wholesome Day at Shaun the Sheep Farm Garden🌸

#summervacay
I spent a relaxing day at the Shaun the Sheep Farm Garden and Rose Garden in Maibara at the end of the month — perfect for a solo getaway or a fun family outing!

🌹First stop: The Rose Garden
As you enter the park, you’re greeted by rows of blooming roses — this is peak flower season, so take your time and enjoy the view.

🐑Next stop: Shaun the Sheep Theme Farm
Follow the signs down the main path and you’ll soon arrive at the theme farm. It’s such a cute and heartwarming place, especially if you’re a fan of the show. Here’s what you’ll find:

A BBQ area
A baking experience zone (make your own Shaun-shaped bread — highly recommend going here first! Bake it, explore the farm, then come back to pick it up)
A gift shop
A small petting zoo with sheep and goats
Scattered replica houses from the Shaun the Sheep animation — my personal favorite part!
🎂 Food note: The Hillside Café serves cute sheep-themed ice cream and cakes — both adorable and tasty.

👶 Petting zoo: Though small, it’s great for little kids to feed the sheep. Just be prepared — the smell can be a bit strong!
