Makkah has a hot desert climate, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C (104°F) during the day, especially in summer. The best time to visit is during the cooler months from November to February. During the Hajj season, the city becomes extremely crowded, so plan accordingly and be prepared for large crowds and increased prices.
