🌊 My time in Malta was better when I was alone

📖 Feeling alone in a crowded place
Malta has many tourists, but it's not strange to feel alone. When you sit in a small cafe and drink coffee, or sit on a bench next to the cathedral and watch people passing by, you feel like you're gently separated from the world. It's an island where being alone is not awkward at all ☕🪑🌿

🚤 A light boat trip to an island beyond
I take a boat to Gozo or Comino for a day. Time to look out over the sea with headphones on, time to walk around the island in silence and face the scenery. Making memories that you don't share with anyone is a privilege of solo travel ⛴️🎧🌊

📷 Walking at my own pace in an unfamiliar alley
Malta's alleys are not large, but they present a different atmosphere every time. Sunny stone walls, yellow window frames, and unexpectedly open cathedral doors. If I was with someone, I would have missed the small details, but when I'm alone, I get to look at them for a long time 🚪🌼📸

📍 A trip that leaves a deeper impression because I'm alone
Being alone means I can stay a little slower and travel with a little more of my own perspective. The few days in Malta were a time to find my own pace. Malta, an island that knows how to smile quietly, was especially kind to solo travelers 💭📚🕊️
