🌧️ Manchester, England

🌦️ The rain came and went like it was on its own schedule. Never heavy enough to stop walking, just enough to make the pavements shimmer. It gave the city a kind of softness , glass and brick 🧱 blurred under wet light, reflections stretching long across puddles.

🎨 Northern Quarter buzzed in its own rhythm. Murals on every spare wall, record shops with handwritten signs, indie cafés where everyone seems to know someone. Walked past a window and caught the smell of toast and vinyl dust. ☕ Sat inside a coffee spot we didn’t know the name of, just warm wood, soft chatter, and a flat white that somehow tasted better because of the quiet.

🧱 Old factories turned into art spaces, bookstores tucked under train bridges. There’s a texture to this city, red brick and rust and rhythm. Afflecks Palace felt like chaos in the best way. Vintage stalls, incense, stickers, and mirrors, like stepping into someone’s memory box.

🖼️ The Whitworth was calm. White walls, shadows shifting with the clouds, and big windows that made you want to just sit still. Art that didn’t shout. Just… waited.

🍻 In the evening, the whole city tilted golden. People spilling out of pubs, the smell of hops and fried something good in the air. Canal Street lit up early, like it couldn’t wait for night to fall. 🌈 Laughter carried over water and music pulsed out of half-open doors. No filter needed.
