My favorite border town so far.

If you don't want to work, come to Mangshi, a small town on the border of Yunnan, for a few days.

The pace here is slow, and every day feels leisurely; the scenery is charming, and you can enjoy the rich Southeast Asian style everywhere; there are many delicacies, and you can eat different things every day; the climate is pleasant, not so hot in summer, and about 20 degrees in winter.

A landmark in Mangshi, it makes you feel like you are in Myanmar.

A landmark in Mangshi, a pure white building, magnificent and sacred.

⏰ The sunset in the evening is beautiful, and the night view is particularly quiet, open until 10 pm.

✅ Bodhi Street

There are coconut trees 🌴 on both sides of the road, riding a scooter through it, full of the charm of a leisurely Southeast Asian town.

📷 The best photo spot is at the entrance of Mangshi Hotel, but be sure to follow traffic rules.

It feels like you are on Khao San Road in Bangkok, with a wide variety of snacks, very good to visit, and many popular check-in spots.

An ancient town full of Dai style, like a Dai palace.

A De'ang village hidden in the mountains, with a sense of seclusion.

An ancient tree with hundreds of years of history wraps around the pagoda, which is very magical.

A temple building combining Han and Dai styles, with black and gold as the main colors, which is rare in other places.

🥤 I really love the food in Mangshi, all kinds of Southeast Asian snacks, Dai, Jingpo, and other snacks, it is simply a paradise for foodies.

✈️ You can fly directly to Mangshi, and the airport is very close to the city.

🛵 Mangshi is a small city, you can ride a shared bike around, eat while walking, and enjoy it.
