Aba Ancient Qiang City, experience the charming customs of Sichuan’s ethnic minorities.

Minority scenic spots visited by Sichuan tourists, the "ancient Qiang" among China's 56 ethnic minorities, are known as the "ethnic group on the clouds" because they mostly live in high mountains or mid-mountain areas.

The ancient Qiang city in Aba Prefecture that we visited is a mountain city built of stones. It is quite quaint and unique, and the local residents still retain their traditional culture. Whether it is their clothing or their lifestyle, there is a strong ancient Qiang flavor.

What impressed me most were the silver jewelry, Qiang embroidery on clothing, and the fact that the small Qiang flute could play pleasant and high-pitched music, which was quite amazing.

Other characteristic sites in the scenic area include Pingtou Qiang Village, where the legend of the Nine Cauldrons used by Dayu to control floods in ancient times also originated, adding to the attraction of the ancient Qiang city.
