This authentic Japanese garden is located on Daikon Island, which floats in Lake Nakaumi, famous for its peony flowers and ginseng.

The pond-style garden, which has an area of ​​about 10,000 tsubo (approx. 33,000 m2), recreates the scenery of the Izumo region, and is home to a variety of flowers, including peonies, that bloom in every season.

During Golden Week, when peonies are in full bloom at their peak in the year, the "pond peony pond" appears, in which 30,000 peony flowers fill the pond, attracting many visitors.
In the summer, there is a mist garden and summer illuminations, and from autumn to winter, the autumn leaves are lit up and the largest Japanese illuminations in Chugoku and Shikoku are held, so you can enjoy it all year round.
