Matsumoto Castle is a must visit

During my trip at Chubu area, I was stayed at Kumamoto after visit Shin-Hotaka Ropeway and Kamikochi. I normally didn't plan to visit castle because I think it pretty much the same across Japan.
But I totally wrong with Matsumoto Castle. This castle is pretty much in it's original unlike Kumamoto Castle that totally built up from destroyed stage.
Matsumoto Castle is as good as Himeji Castle that you can see real historic things inside (not museum) and if Himeji is the white, this Matsumoto is the black.
It can have wait up time around 30 mins before go inside beware that ladders are quite steep, elder should walk with more careful.
And if you visit around sunset, the castle park is very beautiful to walk around.
