As the saying goes, "You must see the night view here when visiting Gyeongju," so be sure to visit Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond at night! Even though construction is underway, their grandeur and beauty are beyond words.
I was disappointed that I couldn't capture the reflection of the moon and the buildings in the pond in a photo. The tour takes about 20 minutes, but why not take a leisurely stroll on one of the many benches, taking in the sounds of nature and gazing at the starry sky of Gyeongju, which is more visible than other regions?

After seeing Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, you can visit Cheomseongdae, National Treasure No. 31, within a 15-minute walk! Admission is the same as Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, at 10:00 PM (last admission at 9:30 PM). The path from Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond to Cheomseongdae is also beautifully illuminated, creating a beautiful scene! Gyeongju's nightscape is a perfect combination of Donggung Palace, Wolji Pond, and Cheomseongdae!
