Introducing Hai Tan Tian Shen

Haitan Tianshen is located on Pingtan Island in Fujian Province, on the southern coast of Tangyu Island in Nanhai Township , south of Haitan Island . It is a giant gray-white granite stone statue, a natural pictographic stone figure. Together with the Banyang Stone Sail (Shipaiyang), it is known as one of the " two wonders " of Pingtan Island.

The deity's head rests on the beach, its feet extended into the South China Sea. Lying down, it measures 330 meters long, with a chest width of 150 meters , a head width of 35 meters, a head height of 31 meters, and a neck length of 18.3 meters. Its lower body is a columnar, weathered rock mass tilted upward, resembling male characteristics. It stands 4.15 meters tall and has a circumference of 4.50 meters. It is a venerated object for the surrounding fisherwomen to continue their lineage.

According to legend, touching this object will ensure the birth of a large, fat boy. The entire structure is made of spherical weathered granite, a truly unique and rare sight in the world.
