Matsumoto Castle in Matsumoto City. I'm impressed every time I visit. This is my third time here, and this time I walked around the castle grounds. I love it!

The first time I came was during the fall foliage season.
The second time I came in winter, it was really cold.
The third time I came in summer, it was a little hot.

Visiting Hours: Matsumoto Castle is open daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (last entry at 4:30 PM).

The castle is currently undergoing renovations.

Getting there:
Take the bus from JR Matsumoto Station (about 3 stops) (200 yen). Or, you can walk to the castle (about 15 minutes). We chose to walk to enjoy the city.
