Spend time surrounded by books and silence at Matsumoto Bookshelf

I stopped by Matsumoto Bookstore while strolling around Matsumoto, Nagano.
This accommodation is a renovated traditional Japanese inn, but this time I stayed here as a stop-off rather than an overnight stay.
Inside the hotel is a library lounge with bookshelves lining the walls, and I was happy to be able to stop by and take some time to read during my travels.
I also ordered a hamburger made with Shinshu ingredients in the lounge. It came with fries and a drink, making it the perfect lunch break during my travels.
The combination of the atmosphere of Matsumoto, the books, the burger, and the quiet space was very memorable that day.
