We were on a tour when we stopped at the winery. The tour was very quick, we watched a video, which was really informative about the winery, what they do and how they achieve it! We then sampled three wines before being able to visit the shop.
It would have been nice if there was a bit more to the tour, it felt quite quick, and that you didn't get to see too much. However, on the flip side, the wine was amazing, and I strongly dislike wine, the staff were lovely, the video was really good and the jams were great too!
The place itself is a delight. The wine is delicious. We had lunch and wine tasting. The lunch was something one shouldn't miss. We had Mauritian cuisine and it was really so tasty. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and love what they do. We had a visit of the winery and saw how the wine is distilled. It was such an amazing experience. The winery is not far from Grand Bassin, the sacred lake, so it's so ideal to stop by for lunch after a visit to the Hindu deities. Overall, it was an absolute delight. We would love to go back. Thank you to the staff for their warm welcome especially Preety and Marie Ellen were both so welcoming and friendly.
