Malacca's Dutch Square, also known as the "Red House Square", is located in the heart of the old city. Next to the square is the famous historical building complex - The Stadthuys, which was originally the official residence of the Dutch Governor and has now been revitalized into a museum in Malacca. In the center of the square is the Queen Victoria's Fountain, which was built to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Victoria's accession to the throne. It has a history of more than 100 years.
