Malacca | Go to the ruins of Fort Santiago and feel the baptism of history🥹

Santiago Castle is also one of the main attractions of Malacca, and like St. Paul’s Church, which I featured in my last post, was built by a Portuguese general! My favorite part of Malacca is that all the attractions are very concentrated and most of them can be reached on foot, so after visiting St. Paul’s Church we walked to the Santiago Castle at the foot of the hill, with the remaining cannon outside! Unfortunately, after the Netherlands took over Malacca, they destroyed the buildings built by Portugal, so now only part of it can be seen, and after the baptism of the years, the totem pattern is almost invisible, fortunately it became a historical site was preserved 🥹
