DoubleTree by Hilton Melaka offered a polished, family-friendly escape that balanced Hilton’s signature comfort with panoramic views of the city and Straits of Melaka. From the warm welcome—complete with the famous chocolate chip cookie—to the spacious rooms and attentive service, it was a stay that felt both reliable and relaxing.

My room was modern, well-appointed, and spacious, with large windows that framed the city skyline and hints of the sea beyond. The bed was supremely comfortable, and the overall layout made it easy to unwind after exploring Melaka’s bustling heritage sites. The bathroom was sleek, featuring a rain shower and quality amenities that added a touch of luxury.

Dining at the hotel’s Makan Kitchen was a highlight. The breakfast buffet featured an excellent mix of local Melakan dishes and international staples, perfect for fuelling up before heading out. Room service was also convenient and prompt, ideal for nights when I wanted to enjoy a meal in quiet comfort.

Though not directly in the historical center, the hotel is connected to Elements Mall and is just a short ride away from attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and the Stadthuys. The slight distance meant more peaceful surroundings and better views—plus, easy access by Grab or hotel shuttle.

The facilities were excellent: a well-equipped gym, an inviting outdoor pool, and executive lounge access (for eligible guests) that provided light refreshments throughout the day. It was especially well-suited for families and business travelers alike, offering both leisure and efficiency.

Service was consistently warm and professional. From the concierge to the housekeeping team, staff made the experience seamless, always ready to assist with a smile.
