FrenchBrown: My favourite cafe in Melaka

It is a light and airy French influenced bistro, and since it's an "Oriental" branded property it's expensive. In fact, prices are at par with other similar eateries but some things don't make sense. The only option for drinking water is a large bottle priced at 8 rmb. This is very inconvenient, especially when the tap water or the water served is not tasting fine.
The potato gratiń was good but again the portion was tiny; and the cheapest water, imported Vittel, is 40 rmb (over 5 dollars) for a small bottle.
Additionally, the café serves as a breakfast venue for hotel guests. Parking for café patrons is located at P4-P5, which is quite narrow and may not be suitable for inexperienced drivers
