A stroll through Mallacca’s heritage heart❤️

Walking around Malacca always feels like stepping back in time, yet somehow everything still feels so alive. My city walk started from the famous Red Square, where the bright red buildings of Stadthuys and Christ Church stand proudly against the blue sky. It’s one of those spots that instantly reminds you why Malacca is such a special blend of history and charm. The atmosphere around the square is always buzzing with tourists taking photos, rickshaws decorated with cartoon characters passing by, and the sound of bells from nearby shops.🏠

From there, I slowly made my way towards Jonker Street, the lively heart of Malacca’s Chinatown. The walk itself is filled with little discoveries from antique shops and local art to cafés hidden behind old shophouse doors. Once you reach Jonker, the whole vibe changes more colours, more smells, and definitely more food! It’s the perfect place to just stroll, snack, and soak in the energy of the crowd.💖

One thing you really shouldn’t miss is trying the chicken rice balls, one of Malacca’s most iconic dishes. It’s simple but so satisfying soft rice shaped into little balls, paired with tender Hainanese chicken. You can find many famous spots around Jonker Street, and honestly, each has its own flavour and charm.✨✨

Malacca may be small, but it’s full of stories waiting to be discovered whether through its old architecture, street art, or food. So if you ever plan a visit, take your time to walk, explore, and taste everything along the way.💫🌎
