5⭐️experience @ Casa del Rio

Situated within the heart of Jonker Walk Malacca (about 3 mins away), lies beautiful Portuguese boutique hotel - Casa del Rio.

Well deserving of its 5⭐️ accolades, CDR has well earned my respect. The service experience from start to finish was well beyond my expectations. We were first greeted with a cold Malaysian dessert upon arrival, the service staff had organized our night cruise at an affordable rate (CDR has their own jetty so you wouldn’t have queue at those long lines at Jonker for the same experience) & since it was my relative’s birthday, they even surprised our room with a free personalized birthday dessert!

Each room has a Portuguese-styled patio; we opted for river-view so we could watch the river cruises flow by/ Jonker lights every night! And although it might be loud from the Jonker walk bustle, CDR’s rooms are soundproofed from the noise from the outside ensuring a good night’s sleep.
