D1⃣ Arrive in Xishuangbanna - Starlight Night Market

All day: Arrived early to visit the [Great Golden Pagoda], in the evening visited the [Starlight Night Market], tasted snacks, strolled along the Lancang River, quietly enjoying the beautiful night view across the river
D2⃣ Rainforest Adventure
Hotel: Sunac Crowne Plaza
✔ Followed a guide into the rainforest, learned about bleeding trees
✔ Creek trekking to catch crabs, climbed a 30-meter banyan tree—super thrilling
✔ The kids kept saying “Wow! Mom, look at this!”
D3⃣ Wild Elephant Valley - Dai Village
Hotel: Sunac Crowne Plaza
✔ Acted as elephant caretakers, gave elephants baths and fed them
✔ Learned intangible cultural heritage Dai pottery in Manzhang Village, danced the elephant foot dance—so much fun
✔ Dinner was a Peacock Feast with hand-grabbed rice
D4⃣ CAS Botanical Garden
Hotel: Anantara Resort
✔ Walked 20,000 steps in the CAS Botanical Garden
✔ Checked off giant water lilies, dancing grass, and the bleeding heart tree
✔ Night tour to find fireflies—remember to bring a jacket!
D5⃣ Happy return home from Xishuangbanna

📮 Tips:
1️⃣ Xishuangbanna has a tropical rainforest climate, with an annual average temperature of 18-30℃, average 20℃, but July and August can still be a bit hot
2️⃣ Jino Mountain rainforest hiking is very interesting; the whole route is fun and not too tiring. Remember to bring rain boots and some snacks for energy
3️⃣ The night view at Starlight Night Market is really beautiful, but be careful with photos—many makeup and post-editing skills are not great
4️⃣ When traveling with kids, it’s recommended to join family-friendly tours for peace of mind. Don’t be tempted by low-cost tours; you get what you pay for.
