Tai'an - Hushan Suspension Bridge

Location and Name: Situated in the Tai'an Hot Spring area of Miaoli, the bridge spans the Wenshui River and serves as an important suspension bridge at the entrance to the Hushan hiking trail. It is often referred to as the "Hushan Suspension Bridge" or "Shuiyun Suspension Bridge."

• Bridge Features: The red bridge structure contrasts beautifully with the clear river valley and lush mountain scenery. It was once a filming location for the popular TV drama "In Time with You," which has since made it a hidden gem for visitors.

The starting point is the Tai'an Hot Spring parking lot, and it takes about a 1-kilometer walk (approximately 15 minutes) to reach the bridge entrance.

• After crossing the suspension bridge, the trail extends further. Part of the trail leads to a waterfall path, where visitors can choose to head to Shuiyun Waterfall or continue on the hiking route to Hushan.

• The entire hiking route is approximately 4.5 kilometers one way, making it a 9-kilometer round trip. The hike takes about 4–5 hours to complete and is considered moderately challenging. The latter part of the trail includes steep rope-assisted sections, requiring a higher level of physical fitness.
