Now I am located in Former Hasegawa Residence!
?
Wearing kapok textile Kimono, many of Matsusaka's wealthy businessmen used to get rich by selling kapok textiles to Edo, now Tokyo! The Hasegawa family operates five wholesalers of wood cotton. By buying and selling kapok, the residence has simplicity with luxury and elegance. Although it looks simple, the spacious architectural and decorative design and the playful atmosphere are also well preserved, the house and garden are beautiful! In addition to visiting, you can also enjoy matcha and wagashi at Oshozashiki. It is a great experience to feel the ancient atmosphere of Japan while drinking tea on tatami mats🫶🏻
