Milan Cathedral Travel Guide

Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is the most iconic landmark in the heart of Milan. It is the third-largest cathedral in the world and a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. The cathedral took over 600 years to complete, with its intricately carved exterior and numerous spires leaving visitors in awe.

🚇 How to Get to Milan Cathedral?
Take the M1 (Red Line) or M3 (Yellow Line) metro to "Duomo Station," and the cathedral will be right in front of you as you exit.

There are also trams and buses nearby, making it very accessible.

🎫 Ticket Information
It’s recommended to purchase tickets online in advance to avoid long queues.

Best value ticket: "Combo Lift" — includes access to the cathedral interior, rooftop via elevator, and museum, priced at around €26.5.

If you’re up for a challenge, opt for the stairs ticket to the rooftop, which is cheaper but requires climbing over 200 steps.

Museum: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM (closed on Wednesdays)
