[Milan Cathedral (Duomo)]
One of the world's largest Gothic structures
Construction took over 500 years, starting in the 14th century.
This majestic Gothic cathedral features intricate carvings on its front, sides, and back.
The 135 spires and over 3,500 sculptures inside and outside the building are truly astonishing.
You can also access the rooftop terrace to admire the delicate carvings up close.
Gargoyles inspired by mythical creatures can be seen nearby, making it a must-visit on sunny days.
The interior is incredibly spacious, reportedly able to accommodate 40,000 people.
At night, the cathedral is illuminated, creating a magical and beautiful atmosphere.
Whether visiting during the day or night, be sure to enjoy it to the fullest!
[Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II]
This elegant, dome-shaped shopping arcade connects the Duomo to Piazza della Scala and was built between 1865 and 1877, making it a historic landmark.
The PRADA flagship store is also located here.
It is said that spinning once on the heel of one foot over the mosaic of a bull’s private parts will grant your wish.
Of course, I gave it a try! Haha
[Leonardo da Vinci Statue]
Exiting the opposite side of the Galleria leads to Piazza della Scala.
In the center of the square stands a statue of Leonardo da Vinci, crafted with remarkable detail, including his facial expressions.
It is said that if you stand in front of the statue, it appears as though you are making eye contact with him.
