Located in Misawa City, Aomori Prefecture, this amusement park is themed around "sky" and "flight," divided into three zones: the "Aviation Zone," the "Science Zone," and the "Space Zone," offering a close-up look at the scientific mysteries of aviation.
🛩🛩🛩 Exhibits include the "Miss Veedol," the first successful trans-Pacific flight from the coast of Misawa City in 1931, and Japan's only domestically produced passenger aircraft, the YS-11, retired in 2002. These exhibits attract many aviation enthusiasts from around the country. The Science Zone also features fascinating exhibits showcasing various natural phenomena and pilot experiences, such as "Soaring to the Sky," where you can experience the thrill of high-speed flight through unpowered free fall. You can also experience piloting a small aircraft in the "Flight Simulator" and feel the power of compressed air in the "Probe IV," all of which bring you closer to science.
