[Miyakojima] Can be reached on foot from the city!?

Painagama Beach is located on Miyako Island, Okinawa Prefecture.

This beach is located on the west side of Miyako Island, just south of Hirara Port. In kanji, it is written as Minami-Nagama Beach. "Pai" is a dialect word meaning "south".

The closest beach to the city is about 10 minutes on foot, so it is a very popular beach among Miyako Island residents.

Even though it is close to the city, the sea and sand of Miyako Island are undeniably beautiful! !

There is a convenience store, so it is a casual beach that is perfect for stopping by on your way to shop or take a walk and relax, or to look at Irabu Island on the opposite shore.

It faces west, so sunset watching is also recommended.
