[Okinawa Prefecture] Irabu Island: Cape Shiratori

Cross the Irabu Bridge from Miyakojima to Cape Shiratori, located north of Irabujima.

This place is very close to the beach and the coral reef, and the white waves on the coral reef look like a swan spreading its wings, which is why it was named "Cape Shiratori".

Unlike Makiyama Observatory and Funausagibanata Observatory, the altitude is not very high, but you can enjoy the wide sky and the endless horizon of Miyako blue.

There are not many tourists, and there is a promenade, so it is a recommended spot to enjoy a leisurely walk on the coast while listening to the sound of the waves.
