Tooriike Pond
A tourist spot between the west coast of Shimoji Island and the airport runway. It was originally a limestone cave, but it is said that the ceiling of the cave collapsed to form the pond. It is made up of two ponds connected underground, and is a nationally designated scenic spot and natural monument. When I went, the weather wasn't very good, so the color of the ponds wasn't that beautiful, but it was nice to be able to visit the scenic spot.
