Free Yixing Self-Drive Day Trip Guide

Yixing is a hidden gem. We took advantage of the good weather and took our elders for a visit.

🚗Route:
Dingshan Great Wall ➡️ Dingshu Ancient South Street ➡️ Yada Yangxian Xishan Town
Many stores were closed during the Spring Festival, so we went to Baolong Plaza for lunch.

1️⃣Dingshan Great Wall
✅Start at Fuyuan Temple. You can park at the entrance. If the parking lot is full, the temple parking lot will be opened. We recommend going early in the morning on holidays.
✅Bring some water and food. The whole journey is about 3 km. You can see Taihu Lake on a clear day.
✅There is a Dtree Coffee in the temple.

2️⃣Dingshu Ancient South Street
✅There is a parking lot, but it is small. You can also park on the roadside.
✅Known as the "Zisha Street", there are many stores selling Zisha crafts along the street. It is also a great place to take children to experience making Zisha teapots.
✅The street is full of ancient charm and is perfect for a leisurely stroll.

3️⃣Yada Yangxian Xishan Town
✅The parking lot is large and divided into sections. Staff will direct traffic when there are many cars.
✅A health and wellness town surrounded by mountains and water. The environment is great, and the facilities are complete. It is perfect for retirement.
✅There are themed events on holidays. There were fireworks, parades, and markets during the Spring Festival.
✅The town's landmark building, Dongpo Pavilion, offers a panoramic view of the town.
✅The night view is beautiful. You can stay until dark to enjoy the night view.
