[Tokushima] Oboke Gorge Cruise

#Watersports #Oboke

As a Hong Kong airline has recently launched a direct route to Tokushima Prefecture, today I will introduce a scenic boat tour in Tokushima Prefecture!

Oboke is located in Tokushima Prefecture and is one of Japan's famous canyon attractions. The canyon here is cut by the Yoshino River and features magnificent natural scenery and bizarre rock structures. Oboke’s name means “bold walk” and because of the rugged terrain and spectacular scenery, it is an ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Take the Oboke Cruise and enjoy the magnificent views of both sides of the canyon during the approximately 30-minute cruise. The boat slowly travels through the calm waters, giving passengers plenty of time to admire the turquoise waters and towering rock faces. Cherry blossoms in spring, greenery in summer, red leaves in autumn and snow in winter, each season has its own unique beauty. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to see wildlife such as birds of prey, wild deer and monkeys.

Oboke cruises are available all year round, but the best seasons are spring and autumn. The cherry blossoms in spring and the red leaves in autumn add brilliant colors to the canyon, making it the perfect time to take photos and admire the natural beauty. The cool river water in summer and the snow scenery in winter each have their own characteristics, suitable for tourists to experience in different seasons.

💰Per capita consumption: The ticket price for the Oboke Cruise is 1,500 yen for adults and 750 yen for children (3 years old to elementary school students).
