Recommended Day Trip from Nice - Monaco

One of the best vacation spots, Nice, is a great starting point for a day trip to the luxurious city of Monaco 🇲🇨! The itinerary is perfectly manageable for a single day 💦.

How to Get to Monaco from Nice 🇫🇷
- Purchase a ticket from Nice Ville station to Monaco Monte Carlo.
💶: Approximately 6 euros. You’ll need your name in English and date of birth to buy the ticket (though they didn’t check it during my visit!).

1. Private Cars Collection of HSH Prince 🏎️
When we visited, there was a sign for free entry, but according to my research, the usual entrance fee is around 10 euros. The collection, owned by the Prince, features an impressive array of cars, including retired F1 cars and even the car driven by Monaco’s famous F1 driver, Charles Leclerc 🥹! If you’re a car enthusiast or an F1 fan, this is a must-visit 🏁🏎️.

2. Monaco Harbor 🛥️
Right outside the car museum, you’ll find Monaco Harbor. As a tax-free country, the harbor exudes wealth 🤑💸. You can enjoy the stunning view of countless yachts docked against the backdrop of the beautiful sea ✨.

3. Casino 💶
Walking along the harbor, you’ll find a path leading up to the casino. You’ll need to take an elevator to reach it, and don’t forget to bring your passport for entry 😅!

4. Prince’s Palace 🏰 / Oceanographic Museum 🐠
The Prince’s Palace is an absolute must-visit! Although the climb is a bit steep and tiring, the panoramic view of Monaco from the top is simply breathtaking 🥹✨. I spent quite some time just soaking in the view…. 🌀 It’s so beautiful that even photos can’t do it justice 💦.

Additionally, the Oceanographic Museum is located near the palace. Unfortunately, despite Google Maps indicating it was open until 8 PM, it actually closed at 6 PM 😂😇🥲. I couldn’t visit, but if you’re planning a trip to Monaco, make sure to include the museum in your itinerary! 😆🩶
