Near Nice: A Trip to the Wealthy City of Monaco-Ville

[Trip Moment Delivery 🗞️]
On this trip, I enjoyed the view of Monaco-Ville from the Gateway to the Rock (Porte d’entrée au Rocher). 🇲🇨🏰🌿

🛄 | A Kingdom on the Hill
Passing through the Gateway to the Rock arch and climbing a gentle hill, the old town of Monaco-Ville unfolded before my eyes. Perched atop a rocky mountain, this small village features a charming blend of red roofs and pastel-toned buildings, with narrow cobblestone paths winding like a maze. From afar, it resembles a castle floating on the sea, exuding a serene and elegant atmosphere.

🌿 Quiet Alleys and Soft Hues
The alleys of Monaco-Ville are short and narrow, but time seems to flow slowly within them. The soft peach-colored walls, white window frames, and green potted plants hanging from each window create a warm ambiance. Sunlight filters through the stone walls, casting gentle shadows on the paths, and even the sound of footsteps resonates softly.

🌊 Where the Sea Meets the City
Heading to a viewpoint, I was greeted by a breathtaking view of the blue sea and the Port de Fontvieille below. White yachts floated on the shimmering water, and the modern buildings surrounding the harbor contrasted beautifully with the deep blue of the sea. Turning around, the red roofs of Monaco-Ville cascaded down the hill, with the serene Monaco Palace (Palais Princier de Monaco) perched above.
