My first trip to Iwate was to stay at the ANA InterContinental Appi Kogen Resort, which I had always wanted to visit, and I adjusted my bullet train schedule to do a little sightseeing in Morioka as well🌳🌞

For the bullet train, I used a 40% discount coupon that I received as a membership benefit for JRE BANK🚄

The one-way fare for the Hayabusa from Tokyo Station to Morioka Station was 14,810 yen with the bullet train e-ticket, but it was 8,870 yen, which was a great deal🤍
