Lesser-known Japanese destination: Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel

For our 2-day, 1-night trip, we booked a room at the Lake Biwa Marriott Hotel, and the view was absolutely stunning. From the room, you can see the blue lake, which changes with the light, offering different views. The combination of tatami and lake views is amazing!

As soon as you enter the hotel, you can feel the luxurious yet cozy atmosphere.
We specifically booked a [Japanese-style Lake View Room], which was spacious and bright, with a huge Japanese-style window. In the morning, you can sit by the window and enjoy the view.
The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the tatami was not hard to sleep on, like lying on a cloud.
You need to make the bed yourself, so you can experience Japanese-style tatami.
The hotel also has a pool, which is very comfortable.
