🧿But today we will talk not about any ordinary station. Today we'll discuss something special, significant for every wanderer, known as Depot. Yes, exactly depot — that corner of railway tracks where machines from past centuries gather, old wagons and steam engines. It's there that one begins to understand the true magic of railways, their breath and whisper of steel rails.
🎃🧿What does Depot mean? For some it may seem just a warehouse with outdated mechanisms, dusty parts, abandoned lines. But for real lovers of traveling, it's an entire universe of memories, places with unique history and soul of each train. Here every element has meaning, every detail breathes life from bygone eras. There's an old locomotive No. 18 which survived dozens of wars and crises, next to a passenger carriage from Soviet times retaining smells of coffee and cigarettes from those days.
🎃The Depot becomes a place of pilgrimage for true admirers of railroads. Some come here specifically to see rare exhibits, take pictures, touch history with their hands. Others arrive accidentally, passing by and hearing the familiar sound of wheels, chains clinking, whistle of steam. Yet they all leave this place different people — slightly sadder, wiser, closer to their roots.
