Located in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Mostar Bridge is not only an architectural monument but also a symbol of peace and solidarity. Built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, this stone bridge spans the Neretva River with a graceful arch. It witnessed wars throughout the years, was destroyed in 1993, and subsequently rebuilt to its original state.
As you cross the bridge, the sound of the river flowing beneath you and the view of the surrounding historic houses create a captivating atmosphere. Standing on the bridge and admiring the view, especially at sunset, is a unique experience. Easily accessible by foot from Mostar city center, the bridge is a must-see for any visitor to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
