Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is one of the world’s largest and most renowned aquariums. Kuroshio Sea Tank- its centrepiece and main attraction houses a whale shark, manta rays, and a variety of other marine species - truly a breathtaking view. Whale shark feedings times are like crowd magnets—best to get there early for a spot!

There are many other attractions other than the aquarium located with the Ocean Expo Park itself. It’s easy to spend a full day exploring the nearby attractions - Dolphin Lagoon, Manatee Pool, Sea Turtle Pool, etc

Located at northern Okinawa. Public transportation options are limited, so renting a car is recommended for flexibility. Free parking spaces at various locations throughout the park are available. iI’s a recommended to arrive early or plan a weekday morning visit to avoid the crowds!

Blue Manta Shop is definitely the go-to spot for picking up official Churaumi Aquarium mementos—keychains, stuffed whale sharks, T-shirts, etc. They do sell local snacks too!
