The Baluk Mountains, as its name implies, are beautiful and bountiful. The Baluruk Mountain hike starts at the River Valley Resort on the banks of the Tast River in Yumin County. From there, it follows a mountain road to the Tuoli-Alashankou Highway. This route is approximately 90 kilometers long, with elevations ranging from 1,700 to 2,600 meters, and takes about four days. However, it's not suitable for casual hikers and requires a professional group leader, preferably a local guide.
