Mount Cook, or Aoraki, dominates the skyline like a king among peaks. I hiked the Hooker Valley Track with swinging bridges, turquoise rivers, and a glacier lake finale. It’s one of the most scenic day hikes I’ve ever done. The entire area around the mountain feels sacred, serene, and beautifully wild. Stars at night? Incredible. This isn’t just a hike—it’s an emotional reset.
