Will I ever get to stand on top of Fuji-san?

I have just spent almost a month in winter, revisiting some of my favourite places in Japan and exploring new destinations in Kansai, Gifu, Central Alps, and snowy Tohoku. My #2024wish is to return to Japan to fulfil my bucket list of hiking Mount Fuji with my husband. I hope for us to stand on Fuji-san's summit and watch the sunrise light up the Fuji Five Lakes area, slowly and beautifully, from the top. We would then retreat to a glamping resort or a soothing onsen ryokan stay, hopefully one that grants us a gorgeous view of Fuji! #mtfuji #fujisan #traveljapan
