[Propose at Cape Muroto, a sacred place for lovers?]

Cape Muroto, which has been certified as a Global Geopark, is surprisingly famous as a date spot, and many couples visit as tourists. The observation deck has many photo spots, including a heart-shaped monument, a beautiful chalk lighthouse, and lush subtropical plants.

In addition, the topography of the area jutting out into the Pacific Ocean makes it one of the best places in Japan to see both the sunrise and sunset.

The cape jutting out into the Pacific Ocean is the southeastern tip of Shikoku, and faces Cape Ashizuri. The reefs jutting out into the Pacific Ocean and the subtropical forests covering the cape are magnificent.
There is a 2km-long reef promenade on the coast, so be sure to take a walk.

It was also certified as a Global Geopark in September 2011.
