This is a truly amazing mosque, there are a lot of people on tours and solo, but it didn't deter my experience of taking in the stunning architecture and the history behind it! Would definitely recommend, if you want to be less busy in the early morning, check before you go if you want to go inside as it is close to the crowds for prayer time.

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. It is the largest mosque in Muscat, the capital of Oman, and one of the most beautiful mosques in the world. This mosque is built with Islamic traditional design with modern architecture. There is a large complex centered around this mosque. In addition to the mosque, there is a beautiful garden next to it. There is a parking area for proper parking.

A truly amazing mosque like no other. It is worth spending time there. We plan to go back and go earlier so that we can spend more time there.
