Pay homage to Phra That Si Khun, the chedi for Tuesday

Phra That Si Khun was discovered in 1807 by Laotian villagers who migrated to Na Kae District. It is currently a newly renovated chedi between 1875 and 1897. The chedi is similar to Phra That Phanom, with an average height of 24 meters, which is equal to the location of Phra Angkhan multiplied by three, or the rank of Phra Angkhan, facing southeast, according to the direction of Tuesday. There are Buddha statues on all four sides to bless the surrounding animals who may come as enemies who can approach the south at any time in any direction. It is like a fortress that protects the important relics, and there are Buddha statues on all four sides as sentries. Originally, this area was full of blood from fighting and killing to seize the land since the Lan Xang era until the Khmer Empire. It can be said that this land has never experienced peace. What happened was because of Phra Angkhan, who was nicknamed “God of Warriors.”
